The bomber is still there, on 99E in Milwaukie Oregon. Nose piece of the Bomber is gone for restoration and it isn't a service station anymore but it is still there

Pontiac fastback, I think? GIVE
Secondary choices, the Hudson(?) on the right-hand edge, the Buick in the foreground, and one of several Fords.

Where did the USA go wrong? Earlier today i read that story on Gizmodo about Grand Central Station, which then directed me to GCS wiki page, then to Pan Am Building, then to a video on youtube for helicoptor service from EWR to JFK for $6 (which is like $45 in todays money). Then I see these pics of these beautiful gas stations.
Compare that to what we have today. Dilapadated gas stations, no "full service", no free oil checks, no nothing. You cant even get a free coke on an airplane anymore. When did EVERYTHING become about the dollar and spending the LEAST AMOUNT OF MONEY POSSIBLE for the most profit?? End rant.
